The Magic bullet

This is so great. I went out and bought 2 more. One for my mother in-law who loves frozen drinks by the pool and one for my sister in-law, who's children love milkshakes every night for snack. Everyone can have something totaly different, and it's not a pain in the butt or a mess like the big blenders and there is no waste. My chidren find it is so easy to use and clean up just takes seconds.

False advertising

I like the magic bullet and I do use it on a regular basis for blending drinkings, making guacamole, sauces ect. BUT....you really have to pulse it the right way in order to chop something. If you do it the wrong way it will BLEND not CHOP. The infomercial makes it look like it takes seconds to blend but it does take longer...Plus the food doesn't circulate so well so it doesn't chop all that you put in it. So I love it for blending, but won't use it to chop. Yes, the motor does fail at some points as others have mentioned but you are not supposed to run it for over a minute at a time. Otherwise it will shut off and you will have to wait an hr for it to work again.

Easy to Use

I needed a quick and easy way to make 1 serving size protien drinks. This is perfect for that. Easy to clean, set-up and use. Recipe for gazpacho is terrific! Negatives - 1 serving size so not good for a family and cup broke when dropped on floor.

pleasantly surprised!

My daughter has been begging me to get one of these since her friends mom got it. She said it was sooo great! I refused for a long time then finally got it for her as a "Christmas gift". We all love it! It does exactly like it says, and it is so easy to use and clean up. It comes with several interchangable containers and blades and they go on and off so easy, I thought it was a really good value. We will definately be getting alot of use out of it.

I use the Magic Bullet for fruit smoothies. Excellent way to get daily fruits. Add whatever fruit you have available. I use a banana, goji berries, blue berries, papaya, plain yogurt, and pomegranate juice. Yummy! It is truly magical because it takes less than 5 minutes every day to reap the benefits of good healthy living.

Bad product... AWFUL warranty

I've had my Magic Bullet for 5 months. I use it mostly for smoothies, and it works great. Chopping onions or anything else, it turns them to mush. The base no longer shuts off when I remove the cup, until I unplug the base. Customer Service was happy to send me a replacement, but they charge $10 for shipping. As they pointed out, it does clearly state in the warranty that shipping on replacements is not included, but they don't even offer a repair location or any alternative. You pay more money for them to ship you a replacement, or you're stuck with a broken item. Luckily, at least mine still works. What kind of 1 year warranty is that?? Buy a good knife and a decent blender and forget this product!
