All the components in this 7-piece set offer superb heat conductivity and distribution. You won't get "hot spots," so food cooks evenly. Set includes 10" fry pan, 2-quart covered sauce pan, 3-quart covered sauté pan and 8-quart covered stock pot. Stainless steel exterior layer with a band of copper for accent. The pan has a copper core surrounded by two layers of aluminum and a stainless steel cooking surface. Polished stainless steel handles stay cool during cooking and are secured with sturdy, non-corrosive rivets. Stainless steel lid fits flush to pan so you can seal in the food's flavor. Hand washing is recommended.

The best money can buy and well worth it!

So happy with this set of pans. I've had Revereware, Anolon non-stick, Wolfgang Puck, and now finally the BEST, All-Clad copper core. If only I knew then what I know now. I noticed a difference the first time I cooked with it. It heats evenly without hot spots, and does not scorch. I whole-heartedly recommend this investment. It's the last set of pans I will ever need to buy.

So Beautiful and Functional

I've always been dreaming of owning this set of All-Clads. Everyone has the aluminium All-Clads, but the Copper Core design is just so much more beautiful to behold. Yet it manages to be even more functional than the "ordinary" All-Clads. When I finally got them, they were better than I imagined. While stir-frying, which I do a lot, the heat is so well distributed that it does not leave burn marks on any one spot of the pan. I've even used them to sear the top of salmon on a broiler. When it was time to clean, a quick application of BarKeepers Friend brought it back to its full shine. I recommend this to anyone who loves to cook. It may be expensive but it will serve you and your family for generations to come.
